Dit meetprincipe wordt al meer dan 50 jaar wereldwijd toegepast in bijna alle sectoren van de industrie.

Elektromagnetische flowmeters worden gebruikt voor alle elektrisch geleidende vloeistoffen (> 5 µS/cm) met of zonder vaste stoffen zoals water, afvalwater, slib, slurries, zuren, basen, vruchtensappen, fruitpulp enz.

In de industriële omgeving wordt dit meetprincipe toegepast in de sectoren water / afvalwater, chemie, farmacie, papier en pulp, voedingsmiddelen enz.
