Your competence center for sensors

  • The Endress+Hauser center for sensor competence in Waldheim was created in 1990.

  • Glass blowing is a tradition in this region of Saxony. Kurt Schwabe, a German pioneer in the field of electrochemical sensors technology, carried out his work in the neighboring community of Meinsberg.

  • Endress+Hauser Liquid Analysis employs around 290 people in Waldheim.

  • Apart from pH electrodes, the site also produces glass-free ISFET pH sensors based on semiconductor technology, as well as sensors that measure conductivity, oxygen, turbidity and chlorine levels.

  • The Waldheim location also manufactures cables for connecting sensors to transmitters.
