Toepassingsgebied
De Micropilot FMR60 is de eerste radarsensor met 80GHz-technologie die is ontwikkeld volgens de internationale richtlijn voor functionele veiligheid IEC 61508. De vrijveldradar biedt maximale betrouwbaarheid dankzij de drip-off-antenne, verbeterde algoritmen en een kleine stralingshoek. De sensor wordt gebruikt voor continue contactloze niveaumetingen in vloeistoffen, pasta's en slurries. De meting wordt niet beïnvloed door veranderende media, temperatuurwisselingen, gas- of dampvorming. Bovendien is de sensor uitgerust met Heartbeat Technology.
De 80GHz-drip-off-antenne is geschikt voor vrijveldtoepassingen tot 50 m en biedt een kleine stralingshoek voor tanks met veel inwendige delen.
