De transmitter kan op afstand worden bediend via een app op een mobiel apparaat middels een beveiligde Bluetooth-verbinding. De PMD55B maakt toestandsafhankelijk onderhoud mogelijk, wat de efficiëntie van de technische dienst aanzienlijk verhoogt. De software maakt een eenvoudige bediening mogelijk. Intuïtieve wizards leiden u door de installatie en de proof-test van het instrument, waardoor bedieningsfouten tot een minimum worden beperkt.
